About ATI Wah Chang - Huntsville Operations
ATI Wah Chang Alabama Operations has been producing niobium-titanium and other rod and wire products since 1984. Huntsville Operations comprises 90,000 ft2 in five buildings on 21 acres in Huntsville, Alabama. Today, the division supplies mill products from bar to hair-thin wire to customers in a variety of industries, worldwide.
The ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100-registered operation makes numerous sizes of superconducting grade niobium-titanium rod. Rivet grade niobium-titanium sizes include 0.248”, 0.185”, 0.1555”, 0.1245”, and 0.093” in diameter. Other capabilities include swage-pointing up to 4-inch diameter multifilamentary bar. Huntsville Operations is capable of processing bars up to 80-foot length with a capacity of 100,000 pounds per month as well as drawing nominal 2.4-inch diameter bars and lengths up to 180 feet.
