About Wah Chang - Albany, OR

Located in Albany, Oregon, Wah Chang comprises 180 buildings on 110 acres. The reactive and refractory metals producer has been making zirconium mill products since 1956. Today ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100-certified Wah Chang produces an expanded line of metal products that includes hafnium, niobium, tantalum, titanium, and vanadium.

Mill product forms include ingot, slab, billet, bar, rod, tube, seamless tube, extrusions, wire, sheet, strip, foil, castings, forgings, sponge, and powder in a wide variety of sizes. Wah Chang’s Aerospace Machine Shop is capable of producing custom shapes for aerospace and other applications. The company’s casting facility produces everything from pump casings for processing applications to near net shape components for armor and other uses.

In addition to providing specialty metals, Wah Chang offers technical services, including Analytical, Corrosion, and Metallurgical Laboratory Services.
