About Ti Wire - Frackville, PA

In 1956, the same year that Wah Chang broke ground on its Albany, Oregon zirconium plant, Ti Wire (now a division of Wah Chang) began producing titanium bar and wire in Frackville, Pennsylvania. Ti Wire operates a 55,000 square foot facility northwest of Philadelphia. Today, the division supplies mill products from bar to hair-thin wire to customers in a variety of industries, worldwide.

Ti Wire's sophisticated equipment is capable of producing large diameter bar (.510 in. to .156 in.) with tolerances as tight as +/- .0005 and produces small diameter bar (.125 in. to .032 in.) with tolerances as close as +/- .0003.
